Setup Dialup for Windows 2000
Follow the Step-by-Step guide below to setup your Manila Online's Dial-Up connection in Microsoft Windows 2000.
On the bottom left hand side of your screen, click the Start button, then Settings, and then click Network and Dial-up Connections.
Double-click on Make New Connection icon to open the Network Connection Wizard window.
Once the Network Connection Wizard window opens, just click Next.
For the Network Connection Type, select Dial-up to the Internet from the options given, then click Next.
Select I want to setup my Internet connection manually... from the options given, then click Next.
When asked as to how you will connect to the Internet, just select I connect through a phone line and a modem from the options given, then click Next.
When asked to provide the Internet account connection information, just enter the MANILA ONLINE dial-up number to dial for your area in the Telephone number field, then click Next.
When asked to provide the Internet account logon information, just enter your Manila Online username and password. Once done, click Next.
In the Connection name field, type a name by which to identify this connection. In this case, enter MANILA ONLINE, then click Next.
If you wish to set up your MANILA ONLINE e-mail account at another time, please select No to skip this step. Once done, click Next.
If you wish to test your connection immediately, check the To connect to the Internet immediately, select this box and click Finish. Then click Finish.
